Job Description: Account Manager

This professional-level candidate will be responsible for the management and relationship development required to enable media companies to manage, monetize, and deliver their content globally using Wazee Digital’s cloud asset management, live events, and licensing solutions.

The Account Manager will work cross-functionally by engaging the Engineering, Executive, Finance, IT, Legal, Licensing, Sales, Technical Operations, and Marketing departments to lead all aspects of the client’s existing business at Wazee Digital.


  • Understand and document how Wazee Digital’s products and services are used by the client
  • Be responsible for all day-to-day tasks associated with delivering contracted services for designated accounts
  • Understand customer contracts related to the account, implementing regular internal audits to ensure that execution across the business is inline with agreed-upon terms and conditions
  • Build Project Plans and Scope of Work (SOW) documentation to align internal and external expectations with results and manage the execution of SOWs
  • Manage all client requests, ensuring that internal teams are delivering results within the established Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Collaborate with technical counterparts, sales team, and operations to execute new customer on-boarding, content acquisition or development of operational workflows required to support the management, monetization and delivery of the content
  • Execute regular account status reporting and analysis
  • Maintain excellent record keeping and documentation of account approvals, billing statements, reporting, key communications, etc.
  • Initiate regular, pro-active communication with clients related to account status, changes in scope or deliverable timeframes, and new business opportunities. Includes the development and presentation of thoughtful and strategic Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Collaborate with Sales team counterparts to identify and execute against up-sell/growth opportunities for accounts

Required Skill set:

  • 3+ SaaS Account Management or Project Management experience
  • Experience in process development and refinement to create efficiencies and scale
  • Analytical skill set with strong ability to aggregate, manipulate, interpret and present data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects at scale across multiple clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written oral communication

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with SalesForce or other CRM service is strongly desired
  • Video production knowledge a plus
